3/20/14 Trail Report

It’s March 20, 2014, the first day of Spring, and the Moosehead Lake Region has welcomed 6 inches of fresh snow fall.  The snow is still falling and we are projected to get 2-4 more inches during the day.  Wow!  What a winter in Maine!

We are happy to report that at our club meeting on Tuesday night, grooming was approved until April 1.  We will continue to groom trails as long as the conditions hold up, which it looks like that won’t be a problem, and we still continue to have the funding.

The groomers will be out today to groom ITS 85 North and South.  There is still active logging on ITS 85 North, just north of Greenville.  Please use caution.

The 110 Connector will be groomed as needed.

We have plenty of snow and hope that people will get out and enjoy the spring riding that we have to offer in the Moosehead Lake Region.

Thank you for riding the Moosehead Lake area this season!

Ride safe, ride right.
